Today I painted my piano. I'm working on redecorating my dining room, and this beastly piano was just so very unsightly. So I thought, I paint everything else, why not the piano? I mixed up some Homestead Blue milk paint, and away we went.

I adore the way it turned out. Of course this meant I had to repaint my walls as well, so my loving husband and I spent Thanksgiving Monday painting away. But it was soooo worth it :)
Nice job. I have one sitting in my shop. A customer gave it to me and I was going to dismantle it. Not now....as it still works I am going to shabby it up. Thanks for the great post, Sheryl
Hello! I would love to paint my piano this same color. I've tried searching homestead blue milk paint, but I'm not finding that color. I've found homestead milk paint as the name of a company. Could you please share the name of the paint and the color?
It looks great, Jen!
ReplyDeleteI love the color. You inspire me. Love ya.
ReplyDeleteSuper fun! I just finished painting my own piano a similar color and I love it. You did a great job--it looks amazing
