This dresser has been awaiting its' re-do for a few months now. Mark found it behind an apartment building, and while I wasn't quite sold on refinishing it at first, I'm quite happy I did.
I stripped all the veneer off it, re-stained the top and sides, and painted the drawers in a lovely teal milk paint.
It is a gorgeous, solid wood piece, and I love the rustic feel and look of how it turned out.
It was missing one pull, but as I was taking all the drawers out, I found it in the bottom. So happy!
There are so many retro-styled pieces that are just junk. But this piece is a true, authentic, quality retro piece. I'm so glad it found its' way into my shop.
One more day of work until we leave for the cottage for a week!
