I must apologize.  It's been far too long since I've written a blog post.  Well, this weekend as I got hit by a nasty flu, Mark once again picked up a paint brush and accomplished a few projects that we had sitting in the garage.

This was a dresser I picked up at an auction.  That's the before picture.  It was stuffed in a corner.  The auction was quite mundane and unexciting.  I came home with a little sled for my girls, and this fun piece.

It's been in my garage for too long, so today Mark pulled it out, mixed up some Loyalist milk paint, and away he went.  I call him my milk man :)

I just love the over sized mirror that balances on top of the low dresser.  I also love how the curves look like the whole thing is a wave.  So, so fun.

The paint surface crackled the perfect amount without chipping off.  Thanks, paint!  I do so love it when you do that.

In the middle are two little jewelry drawers with the original purple velvet lining.  The detail is just stunning.
